![]() The thing is that these config files are all empty. I guess these are the game core files saved for each games. I don't know if this is important but in the Retroarch folder>config>Nestopia there are different config files. It works if I go into the F1 Menu and to the Controls menu again but then I would have to do this every time I play and I guess Is there a way to fix thisI followed the advice in this thread. The game starts and the controller don't work again. Everytime I close and re open NEStopia, I have to put my controller inputs into it again. Each button you press should change it to something like '(joy 0) 1'. Like GBA emulation, JNES, FCEUX, RocNES, OpenEmu, Nestopia emulator, SEGA roms. Plug in the controller, start Nestopia, go to Options->Input, press the Set All button, then go through the button sequence. A: It works on all NES emulators, just make sure you set up the controller before you select a game or it wont read its use. I read that in the US Arkanoid was bundled with a special controller but I figured the emulators would work around this and allow the use of the standard controller (which the first two seem to do). 'Nestopia 1.09 on Windows XP works fine here. In the last two I cant move the paddle but cheat codes work. I checked so all the configuration was in the way I wanted then saved the Core Game File. In the two first cores I can move the paddle but cheat codes dont work. I choosed Load Content>Collection>Picked A Game>Started the Retroarch. I reinstalled the Retroarch and mapped the controller for the Retroarch menu in Input>Input User 1 Binds. I tried to setup with the xbox 360 controller. I have tried to Google but everything leads me to Retropie and other shit that doesn't involve Retroarch and these Controller input issue. Please help! I've been sitting with this problem all the day and no solution. I have successfully mapped 2 controllers to the 1 and 2 player control config, but only the player 1 controller works, the other does not work at all. I'm running on Windows 7 32-bit and have the stable install version of Retroarch called 1.6.9. Okay, so I'm running Nestopia on my PowerPC Mac Mini, and I'm using this driver along with a Microsoft wireless gaming receiver to allow usage of the 360 controller on the Mac. ![]() I have a Logitech Dual Action Controller and a Wired Xbox 360 controller but it's all the same problem with both of these. Enjoy a comfortable, evolved design with an iconic layout and enhanced sticks. Sometimes my controller input mapping is working in the game but when I quit Retroarch and start it again it won't recognize my controller in the game. When I load a game it says that my controller are in the port # 0. What is the problem? I have tried to remap the controller a thousand times by now, reinstall the program several times but it seems that every time I restart Retroarch the settings have changed with the input mapping. I can use my controller in the retroarch menu tough. The problem is that when loaded a core, let's say Nestopia, it won't recognize my controller when starting a game. I have decided to use Retroarch as my default emulator together with Launchbox.
